Delete Account
Permanently remove your account
We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your Recappp account and what happens to your data.
Before you delete
- • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
- • All your recaps, data, and settings will be permanently removed
- • Export your data first if you want to keep a copy
- • Cancel any active subscriptions separately via App Store / Google Play
Option 1: Delete from the App
The fastest way to delete your account:
- 1Open Recappp on your device
- 2Go to Settings (tap the gear icon)
- 3Scroll down and tap Account
- 4Tap Delete Account
- 5Confirm by typing "DELETE" and tap Confirm Deletion
Option 2: Request via Email
If you can't access the app, email us:
- 1Send an email to support@recappp.app
- 2Subject: Account Deletion Request
- 3Include the email address associated with your account
- 4We'll process your request within 48 hours
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- ✓Your profile and account information
- ✓All transaction and spending data
- ✓Travel and flight records
- ✓Generated recaps and visualizations
- ✓OAuth tokens and connected accounts
- ✓All preferences and settings
Deletion Timeline
Immediate
Account deactivated, you're logged out
24 hours
OAuth tokens revoked
7 days
All user data deleted from active systems
30 days
Data removed from all backups
Cancel Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel subscriptions. Please cancel separately:
iOS
Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Recappp → Cancel Subscription
Android
Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → Recappp → Cancel Subscription
